This litigation was handled by Dr. Guillermo Guerrero Villagómez, legal attorney for more that 50 years, who solved successfully for Seminole Flavor Company in the third and final step before the Supreme Court, granting trademark registration DOUBLE COLA.

started his activity as "Patent Agent"
Under the Privileges Act (patents) of 1880 and Trademarks Act of 1908. He applied for the first Ecuadorian Patent called “TIMBRE CONTROL PROPAGANDA” for Mr. Pedro Aspiazu Carbo and the register for the first trademark of Mr. José Alemán Peña, called "Mentolato" before the Public Works, Agriculture and Development Ministry

Stablished the "Ecuadorian Agents Association on Industrial Property Matters"
With several colleagues, Julio César Guerrero Borja stablished the "Ecuadorian Agents Association on Industrial Property Matters", an organization that has been led by three of his successors.
